Privacy notice
Last updated October 15, 2026. This notice follows the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
Who handles your information
ArcheryCentral runs this website. When you register for a tournament, the club organizing it receives your registration and decides whether to accept it. Both of us handle your information, only for the purposes below.
What we collect
- When you register: name, email, birthdate, sex, mobile number, club, a parent or guardian's name if you're under 18, an emergency contact, your events and package, answers to the club's own questions, and a screenshot of your GCash receipt for paid tournaments.
- Club admins: name and email, to sign in.
- Cookies: one keeps club admins signed in, and one remembers your personal registrations link on your device. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
Your birthdate shows your age, which the law treats as sensitive personal information. We ask for it because tournament events are divided by age.
Why we use it
- To enter you in the events you chose and place you by age.
- To let the club check your payment.
- To email you about your registration and changes to the tournament.
- To reach your emergency contact if something happens.
We don't sell your information or use it for marketing.
Who can see it
- Everyone: your name, club, events and registration status appear on the tournament's public competitor list.
- The organizing club: everything you submitted for their tournament, including your receipt. They may download it for their records.
- Our service providers: Fly.io hosts the site and database in Singapore, Tigris stores uploaded files, and Resend sends our emails. They handle data only to provide these services, and some of it is stored outside the Philippines.
Minors
Archers under 18 must give a parent or guardian's name. A parent or guardian should register for them, or agree to the registration.
How long we keep it
We keep registrations while the organizing club needs them for the tournament and its records. Ask us to delete yours at any time; we will, unless the club still needs it to settle a payment or refund.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to how it's used, or get a copy of it. Email privacy@archerycentral.ph. If you think we've mishandled your data, you can complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
